Here Goes Nothing

I have enjoyed being a silent blog reader for a while now, but I guess it is about time I finally start a blog of my own. I have hesitated to start one mainly because, as anyone who knows me would tell you, I am not very good at decision making. Which basically means I will second guess any post I start to write. Who knows, maybe having a blog will help me to just get things off my chest and not rethink everything. :)

So here is a little history about me. My name is Brittany. I married my wonderful husband Josh on May 17, 2008. We have a very goofy and sarcastic relationship. He always comments that God probably gets a kick out of our goofiness!

I have a younger sister and an older brother. We are each exactly 5 years apart. I love them dearly, and am extremely lucky that we all live within a few miles of each other. So sibling get togethers are usually a weekly occurrence for us. That is, when we aren't going to my parent's house for dinner. Have I mentioned that we are a very close family? :)

I attended Catholic school from K-12th grade, and I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Graphic Design. I work for a small design company and do some freelance design work on the side. For the last 2 years, Josh and I have helped out as Core Team members with our church's LifeTeen program. This year we have also decided to start a Young Adult Ministry at our parish. We have come to realize that many Catholics in their 20s and 30s tend to fall away from the Church. We hope that our new ministry will help to answer their questions and help them find a place in our parish community.

As for our fertility issues, I will save that for another post. Right now its my favorite time of the day...bed time. What can I say, I love my sleep. And luckily I have the day off tomorrow, which means I get to sleep in! :) Goodnight!
